Throughout the film of Kenneth Young that I found very disturbing was the judge. I find it very disturbing because throughout the film it was pretty obvious that he wasn't in the mood of listening to what Kenneth and his mom has got to say. I'm pretty sure he wasn't persuade at all. I mean come on Kenneth has served his time for a long time, he volunteered to help sick inmates around him, worked on getting his education and I think he is a change man. Although I think Kenneth and his mother can continue to say sorry all they want for what they've done but still the judge isn't persuade at all. I believe that it was just a waste of time if he isn't going to release him. But I was wondering if the judge were to re-open the case of Kenneth Young I mean was is the point of re-opening his case if he isn't going to be persuade or moving to what Kenneth is going to say?

Youths should never have to be imprisoned at such a young age and to get the life sentence while at the age of 14 to 15.

The re-sentence with the judge was the most disturbing scene because the judge was harsh and had no sympathy. The judge didn't hear him through and notice his maturity .

i found the part when his mother went up to the stand very disturbing because she did not sound sincere at all to me , she didn't even take blame for it . all the mother said was she was sorry for her sons actions and she knows he would never end up in jail again because if he got out he would be in a changed new enviroment.
